UPDATES

  • Northeast company MGL Group started demolition of the old library building in September 2023.
  • The aim is to complete the demolition works by December 2023.
  • An application for a 30-space visitor car park is currently going through the planning process.
  • Build out of the new visitor car park to be constructed by the Council’s Highways Construction Team in early 2024.
