UPDATES
THE FORMER Arlington Chapel and School House have been demolished and the site made safe. The decision to demolish the structures was taken due to the serious risk to the public.
The Council has stockpiled the sandstone from Arlington Chapel to reuse in other planned regeneration schemes in East Cleveland.
The end use of the site has not been determined; but will be subject to an options assessment in the future. The community will be consulted of the outcome of this study in due course, ahead of any future planning application.
