As part of the initial masterplan visioning and concept development stage through 2019, bi-monthly workshops were held with the Loftus Regeneration Group which helped steer and shape the outcome of the masterplan. Having secured the funding in early 2021, the group has continued to meet to review progress, acting as consultative group and conduit to the local community.

Throughout this period and following the first Covid-19 lockdown in March 2020, the group has met virtually over Microsoft Teams until the recent easing of restrictions, when the group were able to hold their first face-to-face meeting at Loftus Town hall, in over 19 months.
