UPDATES

  • Northeast company MGL Group started demolition of the old library building in September 2023.
  • A planning approval for the new car park for the site was approved early in 2024.
  • Local Teesside company TCS Civils is currently building out a 29-bay car park and is set to complete works early in May 2024.
  • The new car park will then be open to the public and visitors to Loftus at the earliest opportunity.
